Fairfield, Alabama
The Fairfield City School Board envisioned transformation of the front entry of C.J. Donald Elementary School from an unassuming entrance to an inviting and enticing feature that gave the entire building a sense of identity. Additional administrative space and a renovated cafeteria also needed to be addressed in a project which had limited funding. The design team was able to realize the client's wishes within budget as well as address major ADA, building systems and security concerns. The new features have changed the perception of the school as well as provided a more programmatically efficient and secure facility.
